The term industrial ovens often refers to a multitude of different types of ovens as defined by their heat source.

Industrial ovens can also be defined by the method used to control the time in the ovens. For example industrial ovens such as the conveyor ovens uses a conveyor belt to draw the object to be heated through the ovens at a predetermined rate for a predetermined time.
